The idea to produce wooden watches was made by Ovi’s watch inventor and designer, and it was quite simple because he loves working with wood and wearing a wristwatch. Since he had no manufacturing experience in this area, it was a huge challenge, but it came with success – now Ovi Watch Ltd manufactures high quality, ultra-lightweight wooden wristbands, selling them in over 35 different countries worldwide. Wooden watches are made from four different kinds of precious wood and are fitted with natural leather straps and a unique, embossed dial.
